Stats continue to prove that great workplace culture wins!
Of course, making $$$$ is a key objective for many businesses; we have been learning a successful strategy to increase company financial health with a concerted focus on employee engagement and workplace culture. This concept has been most effectively brought to light through the research of the Great Place to Work Institute and the publication, Fortune Magazine’s 100 Best Places to Work in America. The following graph is from research done by Willis Towers Watson, reiterating similar data to what we have seen from so many research companies. Organizations who focus on employee culture tend to perform at a much higher level than their competitors.
Macro and regional economics certainly are factors in company health. This research proves once again through bull and bear stock markets or economic growth and depression, companies perform better when they are strategic on their cultural efforts.
